Raleigh Works Depot Upgrade – Bellingen Shire Council NSW 2454

A government funded project, the new upgrade to the Bellingen Shire Council’s Raleigh Works Depot has incorporated various forms of mechanical services to which Allied has been contracted.

Modification & relocation of the pneumatic air system, new 1200dia roof mounted turbo ventilators and a Mitsubishi Electric Heat Recovery system incorporating Airchange energy recovery ventilation form the scope of mechanical services.

Generally, the air conditioning system allows for the simultaneous cooling/heating function offered by a Mitsubishi Electric Heat Recovery system. When operating, this system offers significant reductions in energy use relative to that of other systems that may be applied. Also incorporating the use of energy recovery ventilation to high occupancy conditioned spaces significantly (up to 50%) reduces the total cooling capacity required for the nominated spaces.
